Recently, Maddie and I have been working to expand our vocabulary (and move beyond the abbreves). We decided to do so by looking up the Word of the Day (WOTD) on dictionary.com each morning and trying to incorporate it into daily conversation. The best word so far?

dandle: to move (a baby, child, etc.) lightly up and down (as in one's arms). 

I honestly can't picture anyone ever saying this word with a straight face in any normal conversation.

Maddie used it in the following way: "I know you looovvee it when I dandle my feet in your face." 

Not sure if we have gotten this WOTD thing down quite yet.
